Peggy J. Free -- Peggy is glad to be back at CCT treading the boards with her old playmates Tessa,
Robert & Kyle. You may remember her from “Run for Your Wife” (Barbara Smith) or
“A Bad Year for Tomatoes” (Willa Mae Wilcox). She has performed throughout the OC
and Long Beach in plays and musicals alike such as “Annie” (Grace), “Company” (Kathy),
“The Mousetrap” (Miss Casewell), “Mr. Roberts” (Lt. Ann Girard), “The Rose Tattoo”
(Peppina), “Once Upon a Mattress”, “Guys & Dolls”, etc. Thanks for coming and enjoy
the show! If you are “curious” to see her drama of last year, visit her website:

Kyle Spiller - Kyle has been an actor for about thirty five years, including Tully Bascomb in “The
Mouse That Roared”, Juror #3 (the bad guy) in “12 Angry Men”, Jerry in “The Zoo
Story”, and has directed “The Sandbox”, and “The American Dream”. He wrote and produced
a musical that ran a whopping three nights. He plays many musical instruments, the
violin not among them. His work at the Cypress Civic Theatre includes “Born Yesterday”,
“Shoe – The Musical”, “My Pinocchio”, “Run For Your Wife”, and “The Best Christmas
Pageant Ever”. He also does graphic design for the theater and runs the theater
website. And is the voice on the theater phone. In his spare time, he does voice-over
work and manages IT for a software company. Thanks to Tessa for wanting me in your
show. My life for you. And thanks to the rest of the cast for dealing with my complete
lack of theatrical discipline, ethics, scruples, rubles, and politicians.

Kathleen Gray - Kathleen is a veteran of the Orange and LA County theatre communities.
She received her formal training in Chicago at the Goodman Theatre, Second City
Improv, and Steppenwolf Theatre. Life events and the need to ‘pay the rent’ got
in the way of a “professional” theatre career…so here she is at Cypress Civic and
very happy about it. Thanks to Tessa Jacobs for believing in my ability to do justice
to the plum role of “Mrs. Savage”. I hope everyone enjoys this show and the wonderful
ensemble cast that Tessa has put together.

Jamie Scheel - Jamie is no stranger to performing arts. He performs with Improv
Shmimprov every Friday and Saturday, he's been in numerous plays the past year,
and he really enjoys playing musical instruments. Perhaps there's a large disparity
between his enjoyment and level of talent, but that hasn't stopped him before. In
grade school his clarinet skills were often complimented after band performances
because he played louder than the rest of the band put together. When you see him
sitting at the piano, know that he desperately wants to play Jamie's Symphony Number
One for you, but he won't - he only plays when he's alone.

|
Marissa Scobee - Marissa Scobee has been performing on stage since she was ten years
old. She has been involved in several musical theatre productions with the Buena
Park Youth Theatre and Orange County Children's Theatre. This performance will mark
her second show with Cypress and with Tessa. She is grateful for this opportunity
and would like to thank Tessa for all her hard work and dedication.

|
Rick Hardgrove - Rick is delighted to make his debut here and work with director
Tessa Jacobs again. Tessa directed Rick as Sam in “The Cemetery Club”, Mr. Saunders
in “Lend Me a Tenor”, Ruckley and Turkle in “One Flow Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” as
well as a vignette at Fullerton College. Two of Rick’s favorite roles are George
Hay in “Moon over Buffalo” and Sheridan Whiteside in “The Man Who Came to Dinner”.
|
|
Lou Trumbo - This is Lou's first production in Cypress. He was last seen in "Out of Order" at STAGEStheatre in Fullerton and will be next seen in "Return to the Forbidden Planet" at The Maverick Theatre in Fullerton as well. Lou would like to thank his hockey-lovin' friend Jamie for recruiting him for this production. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Gretchen Estes - Gretchen is thrilled to be back for her third show with CCTG; the
past two being “The Odd Couple(The Female Version) and “The Diary of Anne Frank”
which she stage managed. She has done over 20 shows throughout Orange County including,
her favorite, A Company of Wayward Saints where she played an old man by the name
of Pantalone. She is currently attending Fullerton College as a Theatre major and
plays percussion in the Crystal Cathedral Hour of Power Orchestra. She would like
to thank Tessa, for getting her involved with CCTG, the wonderful cast and everyone
at CCTG for making this a great experience. She dedicates this show to her mother
and the memory of her father for all they have done for her . “Je vais bien, Papa.”

|
Lainie King - Returning to the Cypress Theatre stage after a recent turn as Vera
in the female version of "The Odd Couple" is bittersweet for Lainie, knowing this
is the last performance at this venue. Lainie has also appeared as M'Lynn in "Steel
Magnolias" and has done some on air work for KOCE-TV. She is thrilled to be reunited
with some of "The Odd Couple" cast, as well as to be working with Tessa Jacobs again,
and is deeply grateful for the invitation to tackle such a juicy role. Lainie sends
love to her family in CT and hugs to her hubby (the most supportive man on earth).
"And thank you, Audience, for without you, we are nothing."

Robert Purcell - Robert is very happy to be returning once again to the Cypress
Civic Theater Guild stage. You may remember him from "Send Me no Flowers" in 2004
and "Run for your Wife" in 2006. Robert is a veteran stage performer who works on
various stages throughout Orange County. So far this year, Robert has appeared in
"Showoffs/ 'All the way'" at the Camino Real Playhouse in San Juan Capistrano, "Caught
in the Net" at the Cabrillo Playhouse in San Clemente and most recently, "Death
of a Salesman" at the Laguna Woods Theater in Laguna Woods. Robert will soon be
appearing in "The Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged)" In San Juan Capistrano
in July and also in "Driving Miss Daisy" in Anahiem in September. Robert is employed
full time at UC Irvine but would love to find regular work in the entertainment
industry. Robert wishes to thank everyone involved in this great production for
making this show an absolute joy to work on. Please enjoy the show!
